A Learning & Development Section at Ministry of Public Health is proud to announce the training course ( Module A: General English, Conversation & Presentations “without writing”) in collaboration with EduTec Training Center.

The top rated trainee of every group will receive a gift that value 1,500 QR approx.

This course will be repeated on ( ‏Sunday, 16 October 2016 ) ‏and also on ( Sunday, 20 November 2016 )

30 hours training / 10 days

Day 1. Intro & Prep

 

During the first class trainees will introduce themselves and learn what they will be expected to contribute for each class

 

 Day 2. Everyday Conversation

 

Topics will include shopping, travelling etc and topics of interest contributed by trainees which will be practised using role plays.

 

 Day 3. Videos & Discussion

 

Trainees will watch short clips for comprehension, followed by discussion or debate of the topic

 

 Day 4. Team Building

 

Trainees will be given games and tasks to do which will require excellent communication skills to succeed.

 

 Day 5. Book Club

 

Trainees will get copies of a famous book to read. Tasks will be assigned to each group member such as- the plot, characters, the author, background to when book was written, symbolism, etc. Each person will present his findings to the group at the first class and a general discussion will take place at the second class.

 

 Day 6. Everyday Conversation

Trainees will watch short clips for comprehension, followed by discussion or debate of the topic

 

 Day 8. Presentations

 

Trainees will study how to structure a presentation by making a plan and practise pronunciation to engage with the audience better.

 

 Day 9. Videos & Discussion

 

Trainees will watch short clips for comprehension, followed by discussion or debate of the topic

 

 Day 10. Book Club

 

Trainees will get copies of a famous book to read. Tasks will be assigned to each group member such as- the plot, characters, the author, background to when book was written, symbolism, etc. Each person will present his findings to the group at the first class and a general discussion will take place at the second class.
